The Academy for World Mission (Akademie für Weltmission) is a unique institution on the landscape of theological education. Founded 30 years ago by a number German and Swiss evangelical missionary organizations, AWM is where missionaries receive the specialized academic training necessary for successful ministry on the field.

Although most instruction is in German, there are various courses, conferences and consultations in English. The Master-of-Arts program is offered in cooperation with Columbia International University in South Carolina, USA. It offers a multitude of in-service options for missionaries and other cross-cultural workers.

This scholarship provides tuition assistance for students from the Middle East at the AWM in Korntal, Germany.
