Children in the Spanish coastal communities of Grao de Castellón and Benicarló certainly have plenty of experience with the sea. Living on the shores of the sunny Mediterranean Sea, where fishing is an important part of the industry in the region, kids quickly learn a lot about the ocean.

Liebenzell missionary Daniel Peñaloza used the theme for a different purpose – to teach kids about God’s love for them and the great power He will use for His purposes of love. On the promenade "Paseo Buena Vista", Daniel and volunteers from the Christian communities in Grao de Castellón and Benicarló presented a children’s program featuring games, music and craft ideas, all focusing on the Bible story of Jesus calming the storm.

"I was very pleased that many children came and that parents were there to watch the program as well," said Peñaloza. He is already busy preparing a second children's program.
