Throughout the years, a number of Austrians attended the Liebenzell Bible Seminary in Germany and then went on to serve as missionaries overseas. In the mid 1980s, returning missionaries established Liebenzell Mission of Austria to recruit new workers and support the missions effort.

Today two couples engage in church pastoral ministry, youth work, missions mobilization, and evangelistic outreach. Several short-term outreach and ministry teams also serve in Austria each summer.

Former missionaries serve in the mission’s office in Salzburg in administration of missionary support and recruitment.
