Situated right on the equator, 13 million Ecuadorians live in an area about the size of the state of Nevada. Ecuador is a land of extremes, from the tropical coastal jungle, to its rugged volcanic mountains, and then to the steamy Amazon basin jungle in the east.

Toronto has been called “the most international city in the world.” People from all over the world have found a welcome home in this metropolis. Former missionaries to Bangladesh, now use their language and cultural knowledge to reach out to the over 5,000 Bengalis living in the area.

For Liebenzell USA, the United States is both our home – and a mission field. Liebenzell missionaries engage in a variety of ministries aimed immigrant and ethnic populations from connecticut to Hawaii.

This is one of Liebenzell’s newest mission fields, with the work begun here in 2001. Liebenzell was asked to continue and expand the ministry of a substance abuse treatment center, located about 1,200 miles southwest of Buenos Aires.
