Klaus-Dieter and Erika Volz thank God for all His blessings and help during the Reach Hessen outreach project. “Those ten days were very challenging for the ten teenagers from Taiwan, but also very good. They had an opportunity to work for Jesus alongside young Christians from other countries.”

Please pray for PIU staffers Steve Stinnette and Daniel Assito on an eight-day trip to Indonesia. They are meeting with national church leaders to discuss ministry opportunities for students and graduates of Pacific Islands University among the nearly 200 unreached people groups here. Please pray for safety, good health, protection, spiritual alertness and insight, open doors for mission opportunities, and good communication and relationships.

From Nigeria, Crystal Gosnell writes, "Work on our (the Ministry of Mercy) permanent site in Lokoja is underway, but we have less than three months to have it ready before the lease runs out on our current facility. There is still much to do. Please pray that finances, workers, supplies and permissions will all come together to get the project completed on time."

Please remember missionary children around the world during the start of another school year. Some children are homeschooled; others must attend a boarding school far away from their parents and siblings.

We are grateful that two new missionary couples, Christian and Bettina Danneberg, and Michael and Tamara Schmidt, found apartments in the same neighborhood. The two couples now earnestly begin language training in preparation for an evangelism ministry among Asian immigrants in Germany.

Every summer a change takes place in the Japanese Gospel Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. Japanese companies in the New York metro area rotate some of their staff back to Japan, and replace them with new workers. Hisashi and Kiyomi  Tateishi ask for your prayers  as the church loses reliable coworkers and hopes that new contacts made in the coming months will develop. Please pray also that those who return to Japan will readjust well and continue to seek the fellowship of believers.

Friends familiar with the situation in many Middle Eastern countries request prayer that the Holy Spirit would lift the “veil” over people’s eyes. “Many people ‘think’ they believe in Jesus, but only as 'another prophet' of Mohammed. Please pray that they would see who Jesus really is.”
