Liebenzell missionaries first arrived on Manus Island (off the northern coast of Papua New Guinea) in 1914; nearly 100 years later the Evangelical Church of Manus (ECoM) is a fully independent church association. A church-run Christian high school was established in 1990. About 300 students are enrolled.

ECOM High School is looking for English and computer teachers. All teaching is done in English, although you will find it helpful to learn Pidgin. Since English is a second language for many of the students, someone with TESL experience (Teaching English as a Second Language) is preferred. Housing is available on the school grounds.

Liebenzell is a faith mission; all of our missionaries depend upon the sacrificial support of their home church, families, missions-focused churches, and Christian friends to provide for their ministry needs.
